Johnny is an excellent van. Steams up hills and manouvres narrow windy roads with ease. Has a sat nav and rear view parking camera. It was our first campervan experience and we absolutely loved it. This van made it easy to be at powered and unpowered sites alike. Plenty of storage space. All the kitchen equipment one may need. 4 people can sleep in this comfortably. Moving on to Angie who was an amazing host. Very responsive, helpful and supportive when we needed to troubleshoot minor things.

This was a very disappointing experience. We were travelling with friends who also hired one of Angies campervans, and both vans had issues that delayed our trip by four days. Our campervan was not ready at the agreed pick-up time. We were told it would be ready four hours later, but it wasnt. We eventually received a replacement 24 hours later and it was not to the specifications we had originally booked. On day three, we lost an entire afternoon waiting for an electrician because our friends campervan had electrical faults. One side of their electrics had to be isolated, leaving them with only one usable power point for the rest of the trip. That same night and into the next day it rained. The external toilet roof vent was missing on our campervan (due to a previous hirer) and had been taped over from the inside with a garbage bag. Water pooled and overflowed, flooding the campervan. On our fourth day we were then required to drive 2.5 hours for temporary repairs. Angies response to this was I hope it doesnt rain a lot and cause too much leaking and camping has its challenges but its a shame these camper issues have arised and interrupted your travels. It became clear the campervans were not properly maintained or inspected between hires. Our van also had a broken BBQ (missing screws) and no connection for the BBQ to be connected to the gas bottles, a snapped awning post, and faulty external storage hatch locks making them inaccessible. Our friends van had a broken outdoor chair, bin, internal table and more. Both vans had excessive tape holding parts together. We are pretty understanding people and acknowledge issues can happen. However, the number and nature of these problems point to poor maintenance and rushed handovers. Communication was also disappointing. As issues arose, Angies responsiveness declined. Although advertised as available 24/7, we were directed to deal with Camplify when problems became complex. At the end of the hire, despite our request due to concerns about pre-existing damage, Angie did not attend the handover. We were simply told where to leave the vans and keys, as she was reportedly dealing with repairs on another campervan. Overall, this experience caused significant stress, disruption and loss of holiday time to what should have been a relaxing trip.

Angie was great to deal with. Johnnys a big strong lad now hes approaching his teens and powers up hills as though they arent there. He goes forever too, managing well over 1200 kms between fuel refills. We went off grid for a while and managed four nights on solar and a full water tank - we could have got another night out of it. Ours was a long booking and inevitably there was an occasional ache and pain, but nurse Angie was always available with a sympathetic ear and wise advice.
